Mayor Ed Murray says this was very important to him: To get rainbow crosswalks on Capitol Hill.

Each crosswalk costs $6,000 to paint in rainbow colors. They did 11 crosswalks.

That means the city is spending $66,000 so we can have rainbow colored crosswalks in Seattle.

Remember last week when the mayor said he would like to get body cams on all of our cops, but we don’t have enough money?

We don’t have enough money to get body cams on our cops. But for his passion of gay rights issues, Ed Murray &#8212 in last week and a half &#8212 has spent more than $100,000 taxpayer dollars to fly to Israel and paint rainbow-colored crosswalks on Capitol Hill.
