At City Hall this week, a bunch of people held a tantrum because they say there is not enough money for the homeless. I guess $195 million isn’t enough; that was the budget allotted for homelessness last year.
This was all just a promotion for Kshama Sawant. Her team created the posters for the event, but you paid to print them. Yep, city money was used to promote the event.
You have paid to create Sawant’s army.
The estimates are that we have spent between $16,000 and $43,000 per homeless person. But we need to spend even more money? Why don’t we use the money we’ve already apportioned for the homeless more wisely and efficiently.
