Two armed robberies in Burien within 20 minutes

Two armed robberies occurred within about 20 minutes of each other in Burien Friday morning.

The first happened at a 7-Eleven store at 11657 Des Moines Memorial Drive at about 2:45 a.m.

Police say four black men held up the store. One was armed with a handgun.

About 20 minutes later and 2 and half miles apart, another armed robbery happened at a Shell Gas station near Southwest 128th Street and Ambaum Boulevard Southwest.

In that robbery, three black men robbed the store. One was armed with a handgun.

Both robberies were likely committed by the same suspects.

No one was hurt in either robbery.
