The scariest story of the weekend is what happened to a kid in Everett.

A 3-year-old was pricked by a dirty needle at a park in Everett. A babysitter at the park told KIRO 7 they see needles all the time in the area.

Snohomish County doesn’t prosecute people who have small amounts of drugs. See what happens when you don’t enforce laws, Snohomish County? You have children getting stabbed with needles while they’re out playing. Now the parents of this little kid have to wait to see if their son has been infected with anything horrible.

The story doesn’t end there — the disgusting details keep going. While the KIRO reporters were on the scene, they talked to a guy who said he had just smoked meth in the park the night before. The photographer told the man how dangerous that was with kids around, and told him to leave. The druggie punched the photographer and knocked down the camera.

This is a reflection of what we have in our parks because of the government’s complete lack of ability to deal with this crisis, and its desire to bring addicts from around the country to our region so they can tax us even more than they already do.
