Damage from giant barge fire caused $1 million in damages

The Seattle Fire Department says damage from Tuesday’s barge fire on the Duwamish River is estimated at approximately $1 million.
Flames burned through scrap cars stacked three stories high. The air was filled with a huge, dark plume of smoke.
Captain Shata Stephenson says Seattle’s fire boats were a big help battling the blaze.
Investigators have ruled the fire was accidental.
