A listener sent me this photo this morning. This guy was shooting up at 7 a.m. on Third Avenue right in the middle of morning rush hour in downtown Seattle. Open drug use … he likely had committed a crime to buy this fix.

Just another lovely summertime scene in our formerly-beautiful city.

The apathy our Seattle politicians have for human life — both the addicts and their crime victims — is appalling.
