Three people were found dead at a Port Angeles home after family members of the people who live there asked officers to do a welfare check.

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Department said deputies were called to the home on Bear Meadow Lane in Port Angeles at about 4:15 p.m. Monday. Family members of the people who live there told police they hadn’t heard from their relatives since Christmas Day and were concerned.

Deputies found two bodies in the yard, covered with a tarp and various yard debris. That father and son were identified as Darrell C. Iverson, 57, and Jordan D. Iverson, 27.

The third victim, Tiffany A. May, 26, was Jordan Iverson’s girlfriend who is believed to have been living at the residence, deputies said. All were dead from gunshot wounds.

Investigators are asking that people with information call 360-417-2540.

As of early Tuesday afternoon, investigators said they had just received warrants to search the property and started to process the scene. They later found a third body on the property. The Sheriff’s Department is calling the deaths suspicious and is investigating them as homicides, but believe the incidents were isolated to just that address and that residents should not be alarmed.

The scene was being mapped with a drone about 200 feet above the property Tuesday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team, the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab and Port Angeles and Sequim police departments.
