One person is dead and another was injured in a shooting in Edmonds on Saturday.

Police say a man exited a car in the Arnies restaurant parking lot on Admiral Way. He then shot a woman — his sister — in a car before shooting himself.

The woman’s husband and 12-year-old son were present.

Police say there is no threat to the public.

The woman, in her 40s, was transported to Harborview Medical Center. She is in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the back. The shooter is deceased.

A shotgun was recovered at the scene.

There is no relation to a homicide at the nearby Edmonds Senior Center on December 14, according to police.
