A local UFO sighting made national headlines Thursday night.

“Another report from Lakewood, Washington, the 19th of August,” reported Peter Davenport, who runs the National UFO Reporting Center, on George Noury’s “Coast-to-Coast.”

“A couple saw a very interesting blue light streaking across the sky. They report it stopped directly above them. It jumped all over the sky. Then it suddenly accelerated and disappeared.”

“This is very close to Tacoma, very close to some major military bases here in the state of Washington. So a very interesting report,” he said.

Radio colleague David Boze of AM 770 KTTH lives in the same area and reports that he also saw a blue light in that vicinity. Upon taking a closer look, however, he determined it was a drone.

However, if you have any more information, and if you notice any unusual out-of-town visitors &#8212 especially if they have glowing eyes or leave a slime trail as they walk &#8212 call the authorities.
