Hillary Clinton recently made an economic speech that caught the attention of KIRO Radio’s John Curley.
Clinton noted that corporate profits are at record highs, while paychecks barely rise with them, prompting Curley to tell co-host Tom Tangney his theory of Clinton’s economic perspective.
In short, it’s all about shrimp.
But KIRO colleague Dave Ross doesn’t view it the same way and picked apart Curley’s shrimp-economy metaphor. For Ross, it’s all about “those little Italian nougats in little boxes.”
“I know full well that people are just going to horde more nougats because I’m the kind of guy that keeps little jelly packets and raw sugar cubes from restaurants,” Ross said.
What does it all really mean? Well, you just have to listen.
