I-5 traffic into Seattle from Lynnwood was treacherous after a crash near Mercer briefly blocked four lanes early Wednesday morning.

KIRO Radio traffic reporter Chris Sullivan said side roads like Highway 99 and 15th Ave. N.E. were backed up, too. Even southbound I-405 experienced delays.
“The damage is done,” Sullivan said.
