“Emergency crews are working to restore all impacted classrooms to full working order. Updates will be given as soon as more information is available,” the district tweeted Monday night.

The district updated information on after-school sports programs on Wednesday morning. “All Everett HS sports w/exception of volleyball will be held as normal. The coach will connect with the volleyball directly. Transportation to Sno-isle is cancelled, however Sno-Isle is not cancelled. Students may attend, but will need to find their own transportation.”

Heavy rainfall reported across Western Washington

Marine View Drive was closed for several hours on Monday after a day of downpours.

The National Weather Service in Seattle reports that 1 to 2 inches of rainfall fell in under three hours in Everett on Monday afternoon. More rain was reported into the evening hours.
