It might not be Bonnie and Clyde, but maybe more like Ma and Pa Kettle.
The Washington State Patrol is searching for a suspect who shot a gun at another car while driving on Interstate 5. One suspect is a gray haired and bearded man, and the other is an elderly woman who uses an oxygen tube.
The road rage incident occurred on Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. on southbound I-5 between mileposts 93-83, near the Thurston-Lewis County line. The gun-wielding suspect is a white man in his 60s or 70s with gray hair and a gray beard. Along for the ride was a white woman in her 80s with an oxygen tube in her nose. State patrol is now searching for these two individuals.
The driver of a black Jeep Cherokee fired a handgun at a silver Mazda 4-door hatchback while driving on the freeway. At least one shot struck the Mazda, shattering the rear window. The Mazda then sped away until it lost sight of the Jeep. The Jeep has not been located.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Det. Jen Ortiz at 360-449-7948.
