One hurt in drive-by shooting in Renton

One person was injured in a shooting in Renton Monday afternoon.

The incident happened around 4:20 p.m. outside a shopping center near a Wells Fargo location at 355 South Grady Way, according to Renton police. KIRO 7 reports that the 19-year-old victim was sitting in a silver Acura in an Applebee’s parking lot when he was shot multiple times.

The Seattle Times reports that the man was critically injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Shooting suspects fled in a red pickup truck on northbound I-405.

Renton police describe the suspects as two Hispanic males in their 20s. Investigators are asking the public for help identifying they suspects. Tips can be called in to 425-430-7632.
