Shelter in place lifted at 4 Seattle schools after nearby bank robbery

A shelter in place lockdown has been lifted at four Seattle schools after a bank robbery in the Wedgwood neighborhood Thursday morning. The robbery suspect remains at large.
Eckstein Middle School, View Ridge Elementary, Bryant Elementary School, and Thornton Creek School sheltered in place while police investigated a bank robbery in the 7300 block of NE 35th.
Seattle police are searching for a suspect described as being a white man in his 50s. He’s about 5’4″ tall and weighs about 132 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black coat, gray hoodie, jeans, and a cap. He may be armed.
