Find out how the KIRO Radio and AM 770 KTTH talk show hosts think the March 10 Primaries in Washington state will turn out. Check back on Tuesday night for the latest results.

Dori Monson, KIRO Radio-  Our state is at least as far left as the states Bernie won on Super Tuesday (or, as Joe Biden would call it, “Super Thursday”). WA Democrats are further left than those in the states Bernie won – Utah, Colorado, California. So I expect our state will go for Bernie.

But… the massive rejection of Bernie elsewhere led to the amazing resurgence of Biden. Dems know Bernie cannot beat Trump. So that will move some in our state to the “safe” candidate – Joe Biden (who also cannot beat Trump). The dismay of Democrats over the state of their party is palpable and understandable. Safe candidates rarely win national elections.

I expect Bernie Sanders will win a somewhat close WA Dem primary. It’ll be interesting to see how many voters in our state will declare GOP to vote Trump in our ridiculous, declare-your-party primary system in WA.

And hey… remember… DON’T LICK YOUR ENVELOPE!!!

Jason Rantz, AM 770 KTTH- Conservatives should want Bernie Sanders to win the WA primary. Socialist Sanders makes an electoral college win very, very likely for Trump. This country, thankfully, won’t support dangerous, deadly socialist policies. In the meantime, a WA win for Sanders keeps him in the race and his faction will go over Joe Biden and create a ton of disarray. Does Biden pose a threat to Trump? Nope. But the weaker he is going into a general, the better it actually is for Trump.

Ursula Reutin, KIRO Radio-  With coronavirus concerns dominating the news, my first hope is that it doesn’t affect turnout for our primary. The anxiety this virus has created, plus the whole party declaration debacle, will probably keep many voters from filling out their ballots. That’s too bad since this is the first time our primary results will actually count with the new, earlier election date for the Presidential primary.

As far as the candidates, I think former Vice President Joe Biden will win Washington but Senator Bernie Sanders will get more votes in King County. Especially in Seattle.

Although he’s not a perfect candidate, I hope Biden gets the Democratic nomination. He definitely has the momentum and I believe he would have the best chance of bringing the nation together …or at least bridging the gap.

rantz

Todd Herman, AM 770 KTTH-  Bernie Sanders admires Fidel Castro for murdering people to install a literacy program in a country that already had 80% literacy rates; Joe Biden allowed the Taliban and Hamas to ship opioids and cocaine across our Southern border in partnership with narco-terrorists; Michael Bloomberg wants to you live in a hut heated by your body heat and guarded by rocks and stones while he lives in air conditioned splendor, guarded by heavily armed men.

I don’t care which one wins. Trump has my vote.
