Worker falls 15-20 feet into SR 520 pontoon

A worker fell 15 to 20 feet inside one of the new pontoons on the 520 bridge Thursday afternoon.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said the man fell off a scaffolding and suffered a leg injury. He was in stable condition.
Aid crews placed him a backboard and lifted him out of the hole. He was transported to a local hospital.
