A 28-year-old man is hospitalized in stable condition after a stabbing Friday afternoon in Redmond.
Police got a call just after 3 p.m. reporting a man had been stabbed alongside the Sammamish River Trail.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was quickly rushed to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, says Redmond Police Officer Julie Beard.
Beard says police quickly tracked down three suspects and arrested them on suspicion of assault and robbery.
“We have recovered at least one blade and some bloody items along the trail,” she says.
Investigators have determined the suspects and victim met at near the site of the stabbing and walked to the trail, but a motive isn’t clear.
“We are looking at a lot of different angles right now,” Beard says. “So we’re not sure if it was a planned attack or a robbery gone bad or what happened.”
