At least six cars were involved in a crash that blocked several lanes of northbound Interstate 5 through downtown Seattle Thursday morning.
All but one lane of traffic was blocked at South Boeing Access Road for about an hour while investigators cleared the collision. All lanes were reopened by 10:45 a.m.
Backups extended four miles to SR 599. The Washington State Department of Transportation said drivers saw delays on I-5 as well as on SR 99 and I-405.
Washington State Patrol said there were possible minor injuries.
Circumstances leading up to the crash are being investigated.
