Tree falls on woman following Poulsbo car crash

A 20-year-old woman is lucky to be alive after a tree fell on her following a crash in Poulsbo.
The Poulsbo Fire Department reports the Suquamish woman was driving on Totten Road new Highway 305 when she veered off the road and ran into a tree.
The woman told firefighters that she crawled out of her car and was waiting for help when she heard screaming. A witness saw the tree begin to collapse and began yelling for her to hurry and move.
The tree fell on the woman, who had minor injuries from the crash, knocking her to the ground and totaling the vehicle.
Firefighters transported the woman to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton with non-life threatening injuries. The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
