Dad was taking too long in the bathroom, but this time he took off with the commode.
Police said a man and his family stopped in to eat at a Subway in West Seattle where a man stole the toilet and tried to flood the bathroom.
Employees said they were making the family their sandwiches when the man went in to use the restroom. He spent so much time in there that his family left without him.
The man soon took off with a large, black plastic garbage bag. Workers later went inside and discovered the toilet tank missing and the sink left running with paper towels shoved in the drain. The key was also gone.
Subway workers say the tank is worth $550.
Burglary and theft detectives are investigating.
