The last day for online voter registration in Washington is Monday, Oct. 26. Not registered? Register with the state voter portal here. You can also register to vote in person up through Election Day.

In Washington state, you do NOT need to request a ballot if you’re already registered. Ballots were mailed out the week of Oct. 16. If you have not received a ballot yet, you’re urged to contact your county elections office to request a replacement. The voter’s pamphlet was mailed out the week prior. You can also do your research with the state’s online pamphlet.

To turn in your ballot once it’s complete, take it to a drop box location or place it in a mailbox.

A record number of voters have turned in their ballots early this year across the state. In King County, before 2020, the previous record for ballots turned in at designated boxes over the first five days of the voting period was 16,015. This year, that five day period saw an estimated 164,000 ballots turned in at drop boxes. The county has also received an additional 100,000 ballots by mail.
