Seattle police arrested seven people during a Wednesday night demonstration that moved through the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Seattle police say they arrested two people for property damage — one near Broadway on Capitol Hill and another near the East Precinct on Capitol Hill.

Around 10 p.m. SPD said they arrested three more people near 12th and Pine — one man was arrested for obstruction, resisting arrest, and assaulting an officer. Of those arrests was a 30-year-old, who police claim “appeared to be experiencing a medical issue.” That person was transported to Harborview Medical Center and was last reported to be in serious condition.

SPD says it is “unclear” whether that medical issue was directly related to the arrest itself.

Police issued a dispersal order around 10:30 p.m. SPD says it was prompted by destruction to property in the area, damage to police vehicles, and the continued blocking of a major intersection.

Just before 11 p.m., SPD reported that two more arrests were made for pedestrian interference and property damage.

Former Seattle mayoral candidate Nikkita Oliver was part of the march:
