Police shot a 34-year-old man suspected of shooting two Camano Island residents and then leading state troopers on a high-speed chase along I-5 that ended in Mukilteo Sunday afternoon.
According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, the incident started around 3:30 p.m. when Island County Sheriff’s detectives called Stanwood police to ask for help looking for a suspect in a double shooting in the 500 block of Michelle Dr. on Camano Island.
