Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch spars with UFC champ

He may be done with football, but Beast Mode apparently isn’t done fighting.

Middleweight UFC champion Luke Rockhold shared a video on Instagram Friday that showed him sparring with Marshawn Lynch, the Seahawks’ recently retired running back. The two athletes reportedly work with the same trainer.

Hard to tell if Lynch connects with Rockhold’s face during the all-smiles sparring session, but he does succeed in getting some laughs by heaving his heavy right knee at the champ, followed by a comical flying crane kick.

The Karate Kid he is not, but I bet a lot of people would pay to see him Beast Quake in the Octagon.
