Police arrest man suspected of stabbing to death sister at SeaTac apartment

Aug 27, 2013, 4:59 PM | Updated: 5:15 pm

Detectives have arrested a 21-year-old who they believe stabbed to death his 24-year-old sister at a SeaTac apartment on Monday.

“[He] said that he had been stabbed and that his sister was dead and she had been stabbed,” Sgt. Cindi West said on Monday. “When we arrived, we found the male who was very disoriented and had multiple stab wounds.”

When officers arrived to the Skyview apartments, they found both the brother and sister inside. Both appeared to have been stabbed several times.

The man told detectives at the scene that two men had broken into the apartment in the 3200 block of S. 180th and demanded money.

Detectives arrested the man for investigation of murder on Tuesday, but he’ll remain at Harborview Medical Center until he’s booked into the King County Jail.

Detectives have not said what led to the arrest, but don’t believe there are any outstanding suspects.
