Dreamliner woes: Another Boeing 787 wiring problem found

The Boeing Dreamliner has found itself in more trouble. Another wiring issue has been found in several of the planes, and this time the problem could impact the engines.

All Nippon Airways has found wiring problems on three of its 787 engines. Bloomberg News reports the wrong fire extinguisher would have been activated if there was an engine fire. ANA calls it a manufacturing defect. The engines are made by Rolls Royce.

Rival Japan Airlines called back a 787 flight to Finland after Wednesday morning’s report to inspect its engines.

JAL has inspected half of its Dreamliner fleet so far and found no issues.
