Hundreds gather at Seattle park to protest attacks on Asian Americans

Hundreds of people gathered at Hing Hay Park in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District on Saturday to protest attacks on Asian Americans.

A recent attack involved a high school teacher in Seattle.

Several groups, including Friends of Little Saigon and CID Chinatown-International District Community Watch group, attended in support. Former Washington state Governor Gary Locke and former King County Councilmember Larry Gossett also attended.

Several more events are planned for this week, including a rally in Maple Valley on Sunday and a rally at Renton City Hall on Monday.
