Report: Anarchists want to raise money for small businesses targeted on May Day

A group of anarchists have started a fundraising effort to pay for windows broken at small businesses on Seattle’s Capitol Hill on May Day, according to
The Stranger.
Bill’s Off Broadway and Sun Liquor were among those businesses targeted by vandals Wednesday during an unpermitted “Anti-Capitalist/Anti-State” protest that started at Seattle Central Community College.
A group calling themselves the “Anarchists of Puget Sound” sent an email to The Stranger’s Brendan Kiley:
We support everything that happened last night but feel that it is our responsibility to support our neighborhood small businesses as well… We would like to throw a benefit for Bill’s Off Broadway and other small businesses to help them with the cost of replacing their windows. This does not include Walgreens, for obvious reasons.
As of 4:00 PM Friday, a fund set up by the group on
indiegogo
had raised $10 of a $2,500 goal.
