Police searching for suspects in Northgate Mall jewelry heist

Seattle police are looking for three men suspected of robbing a traveling jewelry salesman at the Northgate Mall Wednesday morning.
The man was getting out of his car with a small tote containing “miscellaneous jewelry and diamonds” when he was suddenly confronted by what police say were three to four masked Hispanic men armed with ice picks.
Police say one of the suspects pushed the victim backwards as he dropped the jewelry filled tote and another suspect stabbed the rear tires on the man’s car.
All three suspects then jumped into their car, described as a newer silver colored van, and took off.
The victim was not injured. The loss amount is unknown at this time.
Anyone with information about the crime and/or suspects is asked to call 911.
