Shooting at SeaTac marijuana grow leaves one dead, one injured

Mar 11, 2013, 6:17 AM | Updated: 8:40 am

King County detectives are investigating a double shooting in SeaTac Monday morning.

King County Sergeant Cindi West said a woman called 911 about 3 a.m. saying she found two men shot inside her home.

“We know that there were two males shot at the scene,” she said. “One was pronounced dead at the scene. The other has been transported to Harborview in critical condition.”

A small marijuana growing operation was found inside the home on the 3000 block of South 146th Street. Sgt. West said there were about 50 plants found in the home.

It’s possible this was a robbery or burglary. Sgt. West said detectives have little suspect information.

“It’s possible there is more than one suspect,” she said. “We don’t think this was random.”
