Seattle Police arrested a 40-year-old woman for allegedly throwing a glass bottle onto I-90 in Seattle early Wednesday morning.

According to a Washington State Patrol (WSP) press release, around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, a witness reported debris was thrown onto eastbound I-90 near Rainer Avenue.

The witness said he saw a woman go back into an encampment area in the greenbelt area, just east of I-90, near where the witness said they saw her throw the object.

Officers entered the encampment area and determined the woman was the only person in the encampment.

After the witness made a positive identification, the woman was arrested for Reckless Endangerment.

Further investigation determined the thrown object was a glass bottle.

No injuries or damage was reported.

The 40-year-old woman was booked into the King County jail.
