Two men were found shot to death inside a car in south Seattle early Monday morning.

Around 6 a.m. an officer doing a regular patrol noticed the broken glass near the car and decided to investigate.

He discovered two people in the car who were “obviously dead,” according to Detective Mark Jamieson. The officer called for back up from detectives.

The two men were found in a car behind a Seattle apartment building in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, at 39th Ave. South and Kenyon Way.

Police are canvassing the neighborhood to see if anyone may have heard or seen anything out of the ordinary Sunday evening or early Monday morning.

KIRO Radio’s Chris Sullivan is live at the scene.
