One dead after elderly woman crashes into Renton building

An elderly driver crashed into a building in Renton Wednesday morning, pinning an office worker against a wall and killing her.
The driver, an 80-year-old woman, crashed into the Farmer’s Insurance office on Logan Avenue South.
The victim was pinned by the vehicle inside the office. Firefighters tried to save the woman but she died at the scene.
Renton Police are investigating the accident.
Renton Fire Captain Doug McDonald said there is a sharp corner that protrudes onto Logan Avenue South that he believes has been struck by a car before.
