White Center man arrested in stabbing death of mother

Nov 14, 2012, 7:36 AM | Updated: 7:41 am

A White Center man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his mother to death.

King County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cindi West says the suspect called 911.

“A dispatcher asked the man to put the knife down while deputies were responding,” says West.

When authorities arrived they found a 69-year-old woman that had been stabbed repeatedly.

Medics performed CPR on the woman but she could not be saved.

West says authorities don’t have a motive.
