Robber threatens baby, mom at gunpoint

Seattle Police are looking for a man who robbed a woman and her one-year-old baby at gunpoint on Beacon Hill Monday night.
The woman was sitting in her car with her infant near Shaffer Ave. S. and S. Morgan St.when the man walked up and pointed a gun at the woman and demanded her wallet and purse.
“(Then) he pressed his gun up against the one-year-old’s face and threatened to shoot both the mother and the child,” explained Seattle Police spokesman Mark Jamieson.
He said the woman gave up her diaper bag and the suspect fled.
Police describe the suspect as an Asian male in his late teens or early 20’s with a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
