GeekWire’s Todd Bishop and John Cook love to make your life easier. This week they are highlighting Skitch, a free iPhone and Android application designed to annotate and share photos.
Skitch, created by well-known app developers Evernote, has been available for a while to Android users but was only recently released on iPhone.
“It allows you to take pictures from your device and annotate them,” said GeekWire’s John Bishop. “You can add text. You can draw on them. You can add little graphics and arrows and then send them off.”
Users have the option to upload existing photos from their laptop or smartphone or to take a new photo through the application. The application saves annotated photos as photo files, so any images made through Skitch can be saved and viewed in your photo library.
