Federal agents have traced the history of the handgun that was used to murder State Trooper Tony Radulescu earlier this year, and it appears to have changed hands several times without documentation.

Federal agents have traced the history of the handgun that was used to murder State Trooper Tony Radulescu earlier this year. It appears to have changed hands several times without documentation.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms believes the gun found its way into Joshua Blake’s hands at a gun show in Port Angeles in late 2009 or early 2010.

The Kitsap Sun reports the 28-year-old either bought the gun himself or his father did.

Blake used the 40 caliber Smith and Wesson to murder Trooper Tony Radulescu during a traffic stop in February. He later used the same gun to kill himself.

The man who believes he sold the gun at that show did not have any paperwork on the sale.

The last receipt of sale for the gun is from a show in June 2009.
