Your travels plans could experience a delay if you were planning to cross the 520 bridge on Monday evening.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says the bridge is scheduled to open its drawspan for about 30 minutes at 9 p.m. to let a sailboat get through.

While advance notice will be given on overhead displays as drivers cross the bridge on their afternoon commute, if you plan on crossing Lake Washington around 9 p.m. you should prepare for the delay or take an alternative route.
