The White House announced Tuesday that First Lady Dr. Jill Biden will be in Seattle and Tacoma late this week.
Just last week, Biden told a democratic women’s group that Republicans underestimate the power of women. She said that “extremists attack rights that a vast number of Americans support, like a woman’s right to choose.”
Biden will arrive in Seattle mid-afternoon on Friday at King County International Airport.
