After the horrific fatal road rage shooting on U.S. Route 2, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) has established a tip line to get the public’s help in finding the driver and vehicle.

Investigators said the driver of a Kia Sorrento was creating space between their vehicle and a Subaru SUV. 24-year-old Raelyn Davis of Everett was a passenger in the Kia and was heading home from Leavenworth with friends.

Everett woman killed in deadly road rage incident

Raelyn Davis, 24, was killed in the shooting on U.S. Highway 2 near milepost 63 on the evening of Oct. 15.

“She lived every day to the fullest,” her father told KIRO 7 earlier this month. “For that to be taken with no chance to say goodbye, no chance to say I love you, is difficult.”

The incident began, investigators said, when the driver of a dark-colored Subaru SUV with a cargo box on the roof flashed its high beams at the Kia. A shot then came through the rear passenger window of the Kia, hitting Davis.

Detectives are asking anyone who traveled between Leavenworth and Monroe on Saturday, Oct. 15, between 6:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to check for footage to see if they passed the Subaru.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call or text the WSP tip line at (360) 529-7367. Those with video or images related to this incident can upload them directly via the WSP Evidence Portal.
