The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

Detectives said Oct. 20, the suspect (pictured below) pulled a gun on a clerk and robbed a Shell Gas Station located at 15905 Pacific Ave S in Spanaway.

Deputies say the suspect took off after stealing cash from the clerk but returned and demanded a pack of “Marlboro black” cigarettes.

Investigators say the suspect placed the revolver inside his jacket before leaving the business, indicating the use of a possible shoulder holster.

The suspect is described as a white man with a mustache, thick black-frame glasses, and blonde or auburn hair.

He was wearing a watch on his left wrist and an adjustable-fit “L.A.” baseball hat with a sticker on the bill. He was also wearing unique white and black shoes.

Tacoma shoplifter fires shots during escape arrested

Tacoma Police said earlier this week, officers responded to a business in the 200 block of North I Street for reports of a shoplifter who had fired shots running from a business.

An officer who arrived on the scene saw the suspect in the area of 6th Street and Yakima Avenue. After a short foot chase, the suspect was arrested.

The 20-year-old man was booked into jail for first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and discharging a firearm in a prohibited area.

Police placed a handgun and a baggie of pills into evidence.

Kenmore Police looking for ATV thieves

Kenmore Police (KPD) said last week, burglars busted into a business in the 7500 block of NE 175 Street. Officers say they entered the property in their pick-up truck and hooked up a rope to two brand-new ATVs still in the metal shipping crates.

According to KPD, the suspects pulled the crated ATVs at a high rate of speed down 175th. But they should have considered the length of the rope, the weight of the ATVs, or the speed that they left the property.

Police say the ATVs swung wildly as they drove down 175th Street, hitting multiple parked cars, but the rope inevitably broke. The burglars were left empty-handed.

The suspects truck is believed to be a late model 1970s white Chevy two-door pick-up with red lettering on the tailgate.
