The children of missing Puyallup mother Susan Powell will remain in the custody of her parents after a judge denied Josh Powell’s request to regain custody of his boys.

The children have been living with Chuck and Judy Cox since Josh Powell’s father Steven was arrested on child porn and voyeurism charges.

Judge Kathryn J. Nelson ruled Josh Powell must undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation and polygraph test, noting the “extreme child porn” found in the home where Josh was living with the two boys and his parents after Susan’s disappearance.

The judge also ruled Josh Powell would be granted supervised visitation two days a week and scheduled the next hearing for the end of July.
