3 in hospital following alleged hit-and-run in Seattle’s U-District; Suspect arrested

A suspect was arrested by police regarding an alleged hit-and-run in Seattle’s University District on Friday around 1:30 p.m., the Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed to KIRO Newsradio.

Seattle Fire also reported to KIRO Newsradio that all three people were walking when the driver hit them at 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 47th Street.

Paramedics took three patients with injuries to a local hospital for emergency medical attention. According to Harborview Medical Center, a 21-year-old man is in satisfactory condition, a 20-year-old woman is in critical condition and a 25-year-old man is in critical condition.
