Renton detectives investigate suspicious death

Renton Police are investigating a suspicious death inside a home on Edmonds Avenue Northeast after, they say, a relative found a man dead inside the home and then called 911.

Police called the death suspicious, though they have not revealed further details. In a message on social media, investigators said they were waiting for a search warrant before entering the home.

Police also said that there were no obvious signs of trauma and assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to the community, indicating they do not believe there is a suspect at large.
