The KIRO Newsradio newsroom won three 2025 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, including Overall Excellence.

Each year, the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) presents awards to news organizations across the country whose work demonstrates the spirit of excellence that Edward R. Murrow set as a standard for the broadcast journalism profession.

This year, KIRO Newsradio won the following awards, which you can listen to below.

Last year, KIRO Newsradio won a 2024 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for anchor Heather Bosch’s in-depth investigation series “Facing Fentanyl.”

All three of this year’s winning entries are now under consideration for the National Murrow Awards. Winners will be announced in August.
