A second warning was issued at Jack Hyde Beach in Tacoma due to high levels of bacteria.

The water there is once again off-limits, according to the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department.

“Don’t swim or wade at Jack Hyde Beach in Tacoma,” the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department stated. “Tests of water we sampled June 16 show high levels of bacteria that increase your risk of gastrointestinal illness if you contact it.”

This is the second advisory for Jack Hyde Beach in the last two weeks.

Jack Hyde Park is located at 2201 Ruston Way in Tacoma’s Old Town.
