One dead in late-night Bellevue house fire

A house fire in Bellevue left one person dead late Wednesday night, the Bellevue Fire Department (BFD) announced.

The fire was inside a home located on 108th Ave. S.E., across the street from Bellevue High School.

As BFD arrived on the scene, crews discovered the residence was fully engulfed in flames.

Shortly after the firefighters’ arrival, they began to attack the fire aggressively.

A search of the home was initiated minutes after BPD reported to the scene.

One occupant was inside the home and was reported dead.

A BPD investigation is currently underway.
