A teenager who was missing in Mill Creek is now home, the Mill Creek Police Department confirmed.

Police reported a 17-year-old girl was missing after she left Jackson High School Tuesday morning.

“An exhaustive search was conducted in the area, including the use of drones and police K9s,” the Mill Creek Police Department wrote Tuesday before she was found. “We have word that she may have boarded a bus to the Mukilteo area. We will update you as we learn more.”

Later that day, she made it back home. Officers were sent to the residence to confirm she is safe.

“Thank you for your efforts and for sharing this post,” the Mill Creek Police Department stated.
