Human remains found in Skagit River

Human remains were found in the Skagit River near milepost 90, just east of Concrete.

Skagit County Sheriff’s Office deputies were searching the river on a boat and found the human remains earlier this week, the sheriff’s office reported via Facebook.

Detectives arrived at the scene and processed the area for evidence.

Authorities continue to investigate remains found in Skagit River

Law enforcement is continuing to investigate.

The Skagit County Coroner’s Office will identify the remains at a later date, the sheriff’s office stated.

Authorities said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
